Kerry Duckworth from Kirkby’s in Ulverston is the BMF NVQ Level 3 winner for 2008.

She was nominated by her employer and her regional assessor in recognition of her hard work and dedication to the business. She has been involved with developing the company’s websites and running the showroom with a strong focus on customer service.

Kerry was presented with the Mason-Elliott Trophy by Roger Crees FIBM, Vice President of The Institute of Builders’ Merchants, along with a cheque for £250.00. The Institute will also provide another £1,000 of BMF training to help Kerry to continue her development and education.

Kerry was a guest, along with Ray Kirkby, owner of Kirkby’s of Ulverston, at third annual BMF Members’ Day which was held on the 7th October at the National Motorcycle Museum. In celebration of the BMF’s centenary year, Member’s Day was coupled with the BMF Belfry Golf Challenge which was followed by a festive BMF Centenary Dinner at the Belfry Hotel.
